Mammoth Snapshots

I’ve been dying to go skiing this season, so for Valentine’s day Steve and I took a mini road-trip to Mammoth Mountain.  It was a lot of driving (4 1/2 hours) each way for just a day of skiing but the drive ended up being the best part!  California is just so beautiful! The Mountainous landscape was gorgeous and I especially loved the miles of windmills seen above.  Bob Ross had the right idea..

Bright Days

Sweater: Forever XXI, Skirt: Missoni for Target, Tights: Hue, Shoes: Vince Camuto, Purse: Vintage Gucci, Earrings: Forever XXI, Watch: Vintage Bvlgari

I’m back home in NJ for a few days and although the weather is pretty mild I’m missing sunny SoCal.  There is nothing like some sunshine to brighten up a day.  I decided to post this outfit because like the sun, it brightens me up.  I love the neon pop of the sweater and the colorful pattern of this Missoni skirt.

I’m excited for all the prints and patterns that will be dancing around the streets this season.  Be in the know and check out this video to learn a little about this trend.

Art Walk

Last night I went to the Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk.  The Art Walk takes place the second Thursday of every month between 6-10 pm on Spring St.  Although the event was totally different than I expected, it was still pretty sweet.  There were a lot of great artists selling everything from paintings to jewelry to candles and even puppies. I snapped some goodies to show you what was happening.

Lady Like

Blouse: Vintage (look alike here), Pants: Ted Baker (men’s), Shoes: Vince Camuto, Purse: Vintage Gucci

I love, love, love this blouse.  I found it in this vintage/antique shop in Somerville, NJ.  The pleats, lace detailing, shoulder pads and cuffed sleeves feel so feminine.  I paired it with these men’s Ted Baker chinos and my favorite heeled booties.
